The article deals with the concept of the corporate culture of the enterprise, as well as the influence of manager’s nature on the activities of the enterprise. The task of the manager is to create an internal environment at the enterprise that would support the desired type of behavior of both the individual and groups of employees. The main characteristics of the head of the enterprise that influence the formation of corporate culture are singled out: personal, professional, social, marketing qualities, value orientations, manager’s personal mission. This led to the conclusion that cultural values, even among those who adhere to them, do not guarantee a successful outcome. Therefore, cultural values should be complemented by cultural norms that dictate the behavior of team members. The relationship between the personality of the leader, the corporate culture and the efficiency of the enterprise activity is established. The qualities of a leader’s personality and the style of personnel management are those factors directly influencing the formation of the corporate culture.
